Doormat Days Are Over

For far too long there has been and continues to be people in my life that say they love and respect me. But their definition of love and respect does not match the definition in which I carry and believe in my heart. When I love someone, I choose to overlook imperfections, which allows me to love them perfectly.  This means that I don't have conditions they have to abide by or measure up to.  It simply means, I love you, for who you are, right where you are. This also means that I do not "expect" anything in return.  I give, share and offer encouragement because it is my hearts passion.  You experiencing joy, encouragement and love is a far greater gift than anything anyone can get in return. When comments are best kept to yourself

Sometimes people give/offer hints, ideas, solutions, what they would do's, suggestions etc...and sometimes the same people do it every time they see or text you.  At this point in my life, I am old enough to make my own decisions, if I wanted their advice, I would ask them.  And if I made the money they made, things would be different in my life...we are all at different phases and stages in our lives and I so wish that when I respond to their comments, THEY WOULD ACTUALLY HEAR ME AND GIVE ME THE RESPECT I ALWAYS EXTEND TO THEM! I don't disrespect them by going to their home and and pointing out flaws and updates that need attention.  As if I don't already know what needs to be done already!  I just know I have other priorities that exceed those ones. And further more, if you want someone to do something, tell them yourself. I'm not an owl nor a secretary and seriously, we are adults!  YOU CANT MAKE SOMEONE DO SOMETHING JUST BECAUSE YOU BELIEVE THEY SHO...
